Today, we woke up at 3 a.m., had a delicious breakfast in our hotel and proceeded to do some sight seeing. The views here are breath-taking and the weather is beautiful. Our hotel is connected to a mall which houses more upscale stores than South Bend.
After breakfast, which included typical American choices and a variety of European and Chinese foods, we took the 360 degree tram up to Ngong Ping. This is the site of the giant Buddha and is a sacred place of worship for Buddhists. The ride up was VERY high. It is a tourist attraction but it appeared that a lot of locals come to worship. People of all ages were burning incense and praying to various gold statues. We walked the steps up to the Buddha, where we were welcomed by beautiful mountains.
Tonight we are going to the mainland for dinner. Three days until Gigi!

Such great photos! We were in HK on this exact day last year. :) The weather was beautiful last year, too. I can't wait to see Gigi in your arms!!!
